Vedic New Year 2025 began March 29, 2025 and runs through March 19, 2026.  It is both dramatic and full of hope.  This date occurs annually with the last New Moon in Pisces prior to the Sun entering Aries.  (All planetary positions are sidereal zodiac, Lahiri ayanamsha.)   Vedic New Year 2025 was not only a Partial Lunar eclipse at 14°47’ Pisces, but coincided closely (within 5 ¼ hours) of Saturn’s entry into sidereal Pisces.  Tr. Saturn spends an average of 2.3 years per sign, so was last in Pisces on April 18, 1998.

There is drama because of several factors: 1) the eclipse; 2) Saturn’s ingress into a new sign; and 3) an intense amount of planetary action on the Virgo-Pisces eclipse axis, with Ketu in Virgo and 6 planets in Pisces (including Neptune), and 7 planets including Saturn within a few short hours.  Coinciding so closely with the Vedic New Year, this Saturn ingress into Pisces gets a strong jump start.  For example, we had an extra powerful Easter this year, with the confluence of traditional Christian Easter and Russian Orthodox Easter on April 20 as well as Jewish Passover ending at sunset the same day in the diaspora.  A renewed alliance of the Judeo-Christian culture may be needed to withstand the major assault on Western civilization, the increasing persecution of Christians worldwide, and the Islamification of Europe.

The Vedic New Year (Samsatvara) runs in 60-year cycles that are in turn derived from Jupiter’s cycles; thus are also known as Jovian years. Each of the 60 years has a particular essence and theme. This year is the 39^th out of 60 years.  The 2024 Vedic New Year had the Vedic name of Krodhi, which was very fierce and dangerous.  The Sanskrit translation is “angry and wrathful,” reflecting also a Total Solar eclipse on April 8, 2024 at 25°12’ Pisces.  By comparison, the 2025 New Year (March 29, 2025 to March 19, 2026) is more benign.  Known as Vishwavasu – translated as “beneficent to the world,” it indicates a year where people are expected to be helpful and of good character.

But with so many planets in one sign – Pisces, in this case – we can expect some intensity and some extra upsets in the arenas of life ruled over by Pisces.  The good news is that Saturn’s transit shines the light of Truth on the zodiacal sign and house it transits and also those it aspects.  In doing so, it demands not only a cleanup but new solutions, especially for the world at large in the sign it transits.  Looking at some intrinsic meanings of Pisces, a dual WATER sign and the classic 12^th house, here are some arenas of life in which we would expect to see some renewed attention around the world.

• • • Waterways, oceans, canals, fish – their purity and/or navigability, safety of fish and whales, protection and/or danger from military submarines or wind turbines.
    • Drinking water – its purity, removing fluoride permanently in some cases, and toxins from raw sewage at the U.S.-Mexico border; also, the possibility of limiting human rights to free water – a key concern of the new World Economic Forum CEO.
    • Spiritual and/or religious practices, pilgrimages – purity of the tradition, protection from persecution, and from Chinese Communist influence on the Catholic Church in Rome and elsewhere, in part through sizeable grants.
    • Immigration and enslavement, including slave labor – especially resulting from policies of unlimited mass migration (the U.N.’s Global Compact on Immigration), leading to the breakdown of social structures, drug and human trafficking, the Islamification of Europe, and rising crime rates, notably in Europe and the United States; support for the decriminalization of illegal immigration by Globalists and the political Left.
    • Debt, sacrifice, self-sacrifice, communism – massive U.S. debt demands greater government spending cuts and a new confrontation with China and other nations regarding trade policies.
    • Secrets, secret plans, scandals – such as long-hidden files on the JFK, RFK, and MLK assassinations of the 1960s, as well as long-hidden files on the 9-11 attacks, to name a few. Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum in 1971, suddenly resigns as its CEO. WEF is a seminal Globalist organization. Its Board plans to investigate Schwab’s alleged ethical and financial misconduct. (More details below.)

Saturn Renews & Corrects Basic Structures

Saturn has to do with the basic structures of life, the bones and skeleton of the body and the structure of anything important.  In a WATER sign Saturn creates or repairs structures where either they were weak or insufficient.  It demands definition where amorphousness previously reigned.  In the individual birth chart, and using whole sign houses, whatever house in the natal chart Pisces falls in, this is the arena of life that is receiving Saturn’s reality check.

In the USA chart (rectified by James Kelleher: July 4, 1776, 6:30 pm, Philadelphia, PA) Pisces is the 4^th house; thus it has to do with infrastructure, the housing industry and national boundaries.  Correcting the porous U.S. national borders with Canada and Mexico has been of urgent importance for the current Trump administration and a key measure he campaigned on: to end Open Borders.

The Panama Canal has also come into major focus as President Trump has recently taken action to make a deal with Panama and protect the canal from control by Communist China.  The U.S. funded and built the canal from 1904 to 1914, but later turned it over to Panama in 1999, though with treaty provisions to favor the United States.  This treaty was being violated by Panama and the CCP was assuming power.

Saturn is the planet of Truth, Karma, and Reality.  Its return to the natal position (i.e. at one’s birth) symbolizes a time of reckoning, when a deeper understanding of life’s biggest decisions hits home.  In one’s late 20s this is often related to choice of career, marriage partner, and life direction – a reassessment of all of the above and a big opportunity to correct course if needed.  Klaus Schwab experienced his third Saturn return at age 87 when tr. Saturn entered Pisces on March 29, 2025.  It has resulted in his being forced out of a leadership position in an organization he founded and headed for 54 years.  The investigation of his personal finances by the board of his organization now follows and is quite unexpected.

At the other end of the spectrum is Karoline Leavitt (b. Aug. 24, 1997, Atkinson, NH).  She is President Trump’s new Press Secretary, who at age 27, became the youngest person ever to assume that role.  Before that she was his National Press Secretary throughout 2024.  She is experiencing her first Saturn return to Pisces and has a full plate with a burgeoning career on the world stage and as a young wife and mother, from summer 2024.  She is a member of Generation Z (1997 to 2012).

In both the USA-based charts above, notice how most of the planets are in the angular houses of the chart, ruled by Vishnu, an all pervasive power.  This gives the U.S. dominance, especially with the Sun and Moon in either the Ascendant or the 10^th house at the top of the sky.

Another factor in the Saturn ingress chart is that all physical planets are in only 3 houses, called a Sankhya Shoola yoga, and very intense. (Rahu and Ketu, the lunar nodal axis, are not physical planets.)  Shoola is a thorn in one’s side.  So in the process of correcting a longstanding trade imbalance and massive national debt issues, the U.S. is a thorn in everyone’s side by disrupting the status quo.

In U.S. politics, on April 2, 2025 – just 4 days after Vedic New Year and Saturn’s entry into Pisces – President Trump initiated an ambitious tariff policy applicable to most other nations of the world. He had campaigned on instituting new tariffs, so this was no surprise.  Called “Liberation Day,” it liberates the U.S. from outmoded and now unfair trade policies established in 1945 at the end of World War II.  The aim is to lower unsustainable U.S. debt, now at $37 trillion, along with other massive budget-cutting plans from DOGE, the new Dept. of Government Efficiency.

In the interim, the new tariff policies have brought much predictable opposition from Trump’s political opponents, uncertainty to the financial markets, and an escalation of the U.S. Trade War with China.  That situation could have been resolved in May 2019, but Chinese leaders backed out of trade talks with the U.S.  that were 2 years in development.  In truth, China has backed out of many U.S.-China deals for decades.   But this time they chose instead to introduce the Covid crisis to the world in late 2019.

United States vs. China

Saturn’s transit in Pisces should help resolve these issues, first by redefining the terms, as U.S. has endured unfair trade practices internationally for decades, along with China’s massive theft of U.S. intellectual property.  American elites have become very wealthy by shipping jobs over to China and by using cheap foreign slave labor both inside and outside the U.S.  In the process they have sold out the U.S. to Communist China and assisted the Globalists in the managed decline and de-industrialization of the United States.  This has been happening over the last 40 years but accelerated since Dec. 2001 when China joined the World Trade Organization (WTO).  President Trump’s America First policies aim to reverse that decline and restore American prosperity and dominance. This major Counter Revolution coincides with the 250^th anniversary of the U.S. Declaration of independence in 1775-76 and gives it even more significance and impetus.

China, for its part, is guilty of predatory trade practices, especially since joining the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Dec. 2001. Since then there has been an enormous transfer of American wealth to China, including with China stealing $30 trillion in U.S. intellectual property. This has happened through U.S. university and company research; but also, to do business in China U.S. companies have been required to share all their intellectual property.  China then co-opts it and treats it as their own while ignoring most fair trade practices.

The 2025 Vedic New Year chart set in Beijing, China has Virgo rising, with all the planets in Pisces in the 7^th house of the partner or the opposition, again showing the dominance of their opponents, though Mars in the 10^th house Is favorable as Digbala (best possible angle from the Ascendant). Another positive factor is that Jupiter makes a trinal aspect to the Virgo Ascendant.  So the Chinese are aggressive, but the cards are stacked against them in terms of trade and military domination by their opponents, chiefly the United States. Even so, China currently has a much stronger manufacturing base.  It has a 200 to 1 advantage over the U.S. in that regard, according to American Affairs, a quarterly journal.

Ketu in the Ascendant suggests the typical opaqueness of the Chinese.  It lends an air of mystery, which is typical of this culture and their leaders.   So China is by no means powerless in 2025, but has a lot of enemies working against it.  It will attempt to form partnerships of its own, but Ascendant lord Mercury is debilitated, retrograde, and closely conjoined Neptune, within 31’ orb, so does not express itself clearly or effectively. It tries to obscure what it is really doing – as for instance the massive amount of fentanyl trafficked into the U.S.

The influx of fentanyl into the U.S. (killing some 100,000 annually) is probably the biggest threat to the U.S. from the Chinese Communist government.  Fentanyl overdose is the leading cause of death among Americans ages 18 to 45.  The CCP has also pushed for the flood of illegal immigrants into the U.S. – at least 20 million illegal immigrants in recent years. (Retired Col. Douglas Macgregor estimates there are probably closer to 50 million illegals in the U.S.) The illegal immigrants come from 190 nations, with many from China and some 300,000 Chinese national students currently attending U.S. universities annually.  Many of them stay on and push past the parameters of their student visas.  Some are also spies gaining access to intellectual property rights.  There is a legal process for immigration into the U.S., but Globalists seek to normalize no national borders and no special protections or rights for law-abiding, tax-paying legal citizens. The result is predictable societal chaos, but also cheap labor for the Globalist elites.

We see Pisces themes of sacrifice and self-sacrifice, and with the Pisces association with classic 12^th house matters such as prisons and confined spaces. President Trump has deported over 200 Venezuelan gang members to a prison in El Salvador.  But Trump’s opponents view the rights of illegal immigrants as equal to those of legal citizens, and they are pushing back fiercely against the deportation of all illegals.  For them – even illegals with proven criminal records gain more respect and media attention than the many victims of their crimes.   Criminals are seen as among the oppressed and therefore should be given little to no punishment.

Europe is inundated with this problem, and Saturn’s transit in Pisces should bring some greater attention to this issue, as Tommy Robinson has tried to do in the UK. But he has been imprisoned for his efforts to expose the rampant gang rapes of young white girls by Muslim immigrants in the UK.  These crimes have gone unpunished and unacknowledged for decades.  Saturn’s transit in Pisces should help to rebalance these injustices and swing the pendulum back from the Cultural Marxist philosophy that underlies this problem.   While welcoming mass immigration, including of Muslims with very different worldviews and cultural vantage points, it seeks to blame all white people for everything in history that appeared to show their dominance or superiority over anyone else for any reason whatsoever.  This ideology has led to disastrous social policies such as DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) over a merit-based system, and disastrous curricula, such as Critical Race Theory, leading to indoctrination rather than actual education.

U.S. schools and universities and so many of our institutions have been infiltrated with Marxist philosophy increasingly since the 1930s (when members of the Hamburg School arrived in the U.S. from Germany), but with greater acceleration from the 1990s, especially with China entering the World Trade Organization in Dec. 2001.  It was assumed that with more Western influence China would become more like a Western democracy.  Instead, China never changed its intention to conquer Western civilization, just as the radical Islamic culture seeks to destroy the Judeo-Christian culture, i.e. Western civilization.  Meanwhile, the Marxists encourage American students to hate their country and its traditional values, and the Chinese are encouraged to conquer the U.S.   And together, the combined efforts of the Chinese Communists and the Islamists have served to expedite the goals of the Globalist elites.

Synchronicities on Easter Monday

I have been predicting the downfall of Globalism in the period closely following the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction of Dec. 2020, and I have expanded the range of this major trend shift as taking place between 2015 and 2025.  In a stunning display of synchronicities – if one is looking at symbols for the downfall of Globalism – the day after Easter Sunday April 20, 2025, Pope Francis I died. He was a Leftist, pro-Globalist who proudly called himself “a zealous collaborator” with the World Economic Forum and its “Grand Reset.” His replacement will not be announced until at least May 10, so the influence of his successor is not yet known.

Also on the day after Easter Sunday, Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum, suddenly resigned.  Schwab founded WEF in 1971 and it became a focal point for Globalism and Globalist policies. His abrupt departure surprised many, but the next day WEF’s Board of Directors announced a serious investigation into Schwab and his wife for alleged misuse of company funds. Schwab and his wife both deny the allegations, and in reality it may be more of a staged coup. His temporary replacement is already announced: Peter Brabeck-Letmathe, former CEO of Nestle, a bottled water company. He believes humans should be severely restricted in their water usage, and in 2017 he said: “Humans have no right to access free water.” As noted earlier, drinking water is an issue that can receive extra attention during tr. Saturn in Pisces.

Klaus Schwab was born March 30, 1938 in Ravensburg, Germany. Using a 12 noon chart, Schwab has natal Sun, Saturn, and Venus in Pisces, and as of 1:04 pm local time natal Moon is also in Pisces.  This gives a Sankhya Shoola yoga (Shoola – thorn), with all physical planets in just 3 houses, mirroring the 2025 Saturn in Pisces ingress chart.  His 2025 birthday was just one day after the Saturn ingress, and the effect of Saturn’s return to Pisces was swift and decisive.  Natal Saturn in Pisces is ruled by natal Jupiter debilitated in Capricorn, but at 29°48’ Capricorn is Atmakaraka, the highest degree of celestial longitude.  Jupiter is in a mutual exchange (Parivartana yoga) with Saturn in Pisces, adding power to the planets that rule over socio-economic cycles.

Pope Francis was born Dec. 17, 1936 at 9:00 pm in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has 4 planets in Sagittarius: Rahu, Sun, Jupiter, and Mercury, with Saturn in Aquarius.  Both Jupiter and Saturn are in their own signs, which is favorable for the socio-economic aspect of his life.  He was elected Pope on March 13, 2013, and his acceleration of Globalist agendas is reflected throughout his 12 years as pope, showing his alliance with both the mass immigration policies of the United Nations and loyalty to Communist China – a very odd pairing, to say the least, except that both of them are Globalist organizations. In recent years the CCP gave a $2 billion annual grant to the Holy See through the Vatican Bank. In fact, the finances at the Vatican Bank were due to be examined by internal and external auditors, but Pope Francis shut it down.

The previous pope, Pope Benedict, did not want unlimited mass migration into Europe, and refused to sign agreements between the Vatican and Communist China.  Perhaps for this he was forced into resigning, which is very rare for a Pope and shows the all too-political focus of this religious institution.  But Pope Francis was clearly eager to steer the Catholic Church leftward.  He was a controversial leader of the Catholic Church for 12 years – a full Jupiter orbit around the Sun.  (In the Planetary Cabinet Jupiter is a counselor to the King, along with Venus; he also rules over knowledge and health.  In Vedic mythology Jupiter is a priest.)

The Pope’s critics within the Catholic Church say there was a Color Revolution of the Catholic Church during the Obama and Biden administrations and that Pope Francis did an enormous amount of damage to the Catholic Church during his reign, wrecking the credibility of the traditional Catholic Church by incorporating so many Globalist policies, including the unlimited mass migration of immigrants. This was first proposed by the United Nations in 2015 and signed in Dec. 2018. With Pope Francis’s support they quickly got the mass Islamification of Europe.  Under his influence the Catholic Church promoted most of the Woke agendas, including the transgender ideology, the climate agenda, and the rights of the LGBTQ+ community.  Pope Francis was very active in promoting the immigration of unaccompanied children (much of it actual sex trafficking) and all other migrants into the United States.  Human trafficking was considered a result of climate change.

In 2015 Pope Francis I went to the U.S. Southern border to bless and promote all the migrants trying to enter the U.S. He said they should all be welcomed.   Many Catholic charities also participated in funding that endeavor, as did charities from other religious institutions.  Pope Francis called President Donald Trump “un-Christian” for wanting to build a wall and for not welcoming unlimited mass migration. He never stopped that criticism of President Trump, including for trying to deport illegal immigrants, among them at least 500,000 criminal illegal aliens.  Even during the Papal funeral there were homilies about building bridges, not walls.

President Trump, for his part, disagreed with the Pope but honored him and spoke well of him. On Sat. April 26^th he and the First Lady attended the Papal funeral in Rome. His administration is arguably more pro-Catholic and pro-Christian than any previous U.S. administration, with many Catholic Cabinet members and prominent leaders. Moreover, one of the very last people the Pope saw prior to his death was U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance, a practicing Catholic, who offered the Pope his prayers on Easter and they exchanged Easter gifts.

                                Pisces is Moksha (spiritual liberation)

As a sign of spiritual liberation (Moksha) and self-sacrifice, Pisces is the last of the WATER signs and the last sign in the zodiac, merging into the Great Beyond.  It is not a coincidence that Venus is exalted in the sign of Pisces, indicating that the highest level of love demands the highest level of devotion and sacrifice to God, another person, or a cause greater than oneself.  I have written about the current transit of Venus in Pisces in relation to high stakes diplomacy.

Saturn in Pisces may mark a time when a spiritual battle is fought more openly.  The fight between differing world views becomes not just political but spiritual.  Certainly we have seen the heat of differing political views take on the fervor of religious conviction, especially since 2015.  On a more positive note, a spiritual or religious point of view is gaining ground, especially in the U.S. – where it has become more commonplace to quote one’s God or one’s spiritual orientation as a source of strength, especially among conservatives and those on the Right.

As a recent example of this in the UK, a woman was arrested and fined for the crime of standing silently near an abortion clinic with a sign reading “HERE TO TALK – IF YOU WANT.”  In other instances in the U.S. and the U.K. people have been arrested for praying silently within some established vicinity – often 100 ft. – of an abortion clinic.  These are recent events but should get more traction during Saturn’s transit in Pisces.  They draw attention to the abortion issue at a time of plummeting birth rates and widespread fertility issues, but also to increasing censorship by liberals. In the past, liberals opposed censorship. But now they embrace it, and in doing so reveal their adherence to an authoritarian intolerance they claim to revile.

Apropos the Chinese Communist Party and its atheistic and dark forces, they are said to fear Christianity more than any other forces in the West, especially the traditional Catholics and Evangelical Christians.  Coincidentally, these religious groups have become more and more persecuted in China and across the world in recent years, but at the same time – there has been a recent sharp increase in the number of traditional Catholics in the U.S. and in Europe, perhaps as a reaction to the overblown secularist (even Satanic) Culture of Death, in which the Truth is whatever anyone decides it is.  Some even call it “The Post-Truth World.”
