Edith is introduced by Andrew Foss, BAVA President.

Graha Yuddha (Planetary War) occurs when two planets are within one degree of each other, including in adjacent signs. Considered only in Vedic astrology, it applies to five planets: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. It also applies to the conjunctions of these planets with each other, most especially the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction, which has great significance as a marker of trends both for the collective and for the individual within the collective. (See also Edith’s lecture on Vedic Mundane Astrology at this website store. It is on the astrology of the collective, and on the Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions and their orbital cycles.)

A study of example charts follows an overview and summary of her research since the mid-1990s.

All the charts covered in this lecture are discussed in greater depth in Edith’s book, “In Search of Destiny: Biography, History & Culture As Told Through Vedic Astrology,” © 2012.
